Abstract:
The "Using math in physics" series of contributions to the Living Physics Portal provides materials to help you develop your students' quantitative estimation skills, as a part of learning to use math in science. Each of these units represent a cross-cutting thread — intended to not be a separate topic to add to your instruction, but as a strategy to help your students learn each of the topics you teach throughout the class.
