Circular and Rotational Motion Applied to the Human Body TEXT (BMP)
Vetted
Highlights: Help your students "process" with this Active Learning Biomedically Relevant Physics TEXT on Circular & Rotational Motion in the Human Body
Abstract: BMP Circular and Rotational Motion Applied to the Human Body is the third chapter of a developing biomedically-relevant curriculum (BMP) for introductory physics geared toward pre-health students. This active-learning curricular TEXT builds on concepts introduced in the BMP Motion and Force Chapters, applying previous physics content and pedagogy to new concepts in centripetal force/circular motion, rotational displacement and rotational motion. Physics content integrates with biomedical relevance in human motion and medical technology and prepares students to move on to a study of torques/biomechanics in BMP Chapter 4.
