Biomechanics - 1D Motion with 1D Forces - Lab Activities with Data (Capstone)

Highlights: Sample lab activities and data for 1D vertical human motion and forces, using Capstone
Abstract: This resource is part of the 1D Motion with 1D Forces submodule. Typically, students take motion and force data on the movements they have previously predicted; see the prediction sheets in the preceding 1D Motion with 1D Forces section. Students typically take kinematic and force data on themselves, using video analysis or motion sensors and force platforms or force sensors. Students moving objects and themselves are both explored. If they have previously taken data on the motion alone, the only added feature is the forces. Either Pasco (Capstone) or Vernier (LoggerPro) software and sensors can be used.
