Abstract: Section 4 of the Physics of the Respiratory System Module uses the Lung Model (from Section 1) to actively investigate the increased resistance and work done in breathing with a simulated obstructive lung disease. This section includes learning objectives with matched assessment questions, reading and writing in the curriculum, and a hands-on activity. The curriculum reviews and expands upon introductory physics content.
