Highlights: Prediction worksheets for 2D motion and force graphs and diagrams for various human movements
Abstract: These worksheets are part of the 2D Biomechanics Module, which builds on activities in the 1D Biomechanics Module. In both of these modules, students model and analyze complex real human motion as a sequence of simple motion and force segments, with the whole person modeled as a point object, typically at the center of mass. Lab activities, where students take, interpret, and analyze data on their own movement, are a strong feature of these modules. The 2D prediction sheets prepare students to interpret real data, which is messy. In the process, they can solidify understanding of kinematic and force-motion relationships
