Human-focused Labs - Work Energy and Power
Vetted
Highlights: Archive of intro level labs with human body contexts. Replaces traditional labs on work, energy and power with focus on human movement
Abstract: Archive of introductory level labs that are part of the Humanized Physics Project (2001-2004), an multi-institutional effort to make introductory labs more relevant for students in the life sciences. Ideas were shared, but each institution developed its own version of materials. These are the materials developed for use by Doane College and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Use of sensors for data acquisition was new at the time, but some of the technology is now out-of date.
