Living Physics Portal: Biomechanics - 1D Motion 1D Forces Prediction sheets

Abstract: These prediction worksheets are part of the 1D Motion 1D Forces sub-module of the "Biomechanics Motion and Forces" Module. If kinematics is explored first before forces, the 1D Motion sub-module can precede these 1D Motion with 1D Forces predictions. The worksheets are graph predictions of the kinematics of the human movements to be explored in the lab activities that follow, which either use video analysis or motion sensors and force platforms or force sensors. The prediction worksheets have been used in a variety of ways; from group whiteboards or whole class predictions before lab activities, to individual homework.
